पुस्तकाच्या पृष्ठभागावर दिसणारी विहीर हि फक्त ह्या घराचंच नाही त्या घरामध्ये राहण्याऱ्या माणसांचं देखील प्रतिक आहे. थांग न लागणारी विहीर आणि एकमेकांना धरून तगू पाहणारी माणसे खरंतर माणसाच्या अथांग मनोव्यापाराचं रूपक म्हणून सामोरी येतात.
