Christmas At Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

Same time, two years ago we spent our Christmas holidays in some majestic company. We travelled to Bandhavgarh National Park renowned being the foremost tiger reserve with high concentration of big cats.

Although not our first time on a jungle safari, but it was indeed in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. So, as it’s well known among the safari enthusiasts that winter is not an ideal time to venture out in the jungle for tiger sightings. This was equally corroborated by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide few days later; that in summers you come to see the tigers but in winters, you will be enjoying the flora & fauna more.

But as they say that nature surprises you time and again. Indeed, it surprised us with the rare sighting of a tigress far from her territory; she was in fact in her sister’s territory, on a mission to find food for her cubs. We tracked and followed her path for few kilometres; this is the footage taken during that time.

Advance apologies for shaky hands and vertical mode footage on mobile phones. Still, we hope that you will enjoy this royal company as much as we did.

Looking forward to bringing more quality content in 2021. Till then, season’s greetings and take care.

An unplanned lunch date At Urban Tadka

We initially planned to visit another restaurant but finally ended up having lunch at Urban Tadka. At first glance, the restaurant’s interior is nondescript. Unlike some other North Indian/Punjabi restaurants, it doesn’t announce itself with its décor. Maybe because it’s tucked inside a busy mall on the ever-busy Ghodbundar Road stretch in Thane. That said, […]
